Aniki Special

Aniki is one of my favourite producers! He never fails to impress me with his technically brilliant and downright filthy productions! He has played all over the world and released tracks on the biggest house labels in the world Simma Records, Bass=Win, Jack Knife, Wearhouse, Burn The fire, Sick Slaughterhouse, Flexual and Loudroom to name a few!

Aniki has been involved with music since he can remember. He initially entered the world of production at the age of 13.Over the years he has tried his hand at a variety of different styles and genres of music! It was not until he listened to Kelevra's 'Krunkd Up' mixtape that he was introduced to the filthy jackin electro scene. He instantly fell in love with the sound and the creative freedom it gave him. So he decided to start producing filthy electro. His first track 'Heavy Sound' got support from some of the scene's biggest players Lee Mortimer, Kelevra and Mixin' Marc to name a few!

Since then Aniki has developed a unique sound that has secured his spot as a producer at the forefront of the filthy house scene. His productions are constructed on gut wrenching basslines combined with big room build ups and paired skillfully with unique and catchy vocal stylings that ensure his tracks are brimming with energy and tension! Anikis tracks are designed with a level of precision you see in few other prodcuers and have the soul intention of causing as much dancefloor destruction as possible!!

Aniki has earned his status as one of the great producers of the moment. Not only is he a master of filthy house production but he is also a pioneer, his sound has influenced so many of the new producers who are making waves in the scene at the moment.

Aniki has already achieved so much in his career but I can guarantee there is so much more to come form this guy!!  He is currently working on his own label due for 2011 so make sure you watch out for Aniki world domination is imminent!

Hot New Releases

Zedd-Doveregubben (Original Mix)

A lot of dance tracks have sampled classical pieces of music but this has got to be one of the best! Zedd samples Greigs-Hall of the mountain kings to great effect and it works brilliantly to create and atmospheric build up!! The bassline is also nothing short of a masterpiece sounding like a cross between Wolfgang Gartner and Dirtyloud! This track has all the makings of a beatport number 1!! Make sure you buy it!

Dirtyloud and Alex Mind-Dirty Mind (Belzebass Remix)

This remix is shit hot!!I was a fan of the original when it was released but this remix is so much dirtier and heavier!! Belzebass use the synth from the original to create an atmospheric buildup and then drop it into a bassline of epic proportions!! The dubstep breakdown in the midle of the track works perfectly before going back into the synth for the second build up!! Overall this is one of the best tracks ive herd for a long time!! Make sure you buy this track!!

Digital Pirates Special

Digital pirates are the Manchester based duo that have been making waves in the English filthy house scene over the past year. Their unique blend of fidget and down right filthy house music has caught the attention of some of the scenes biggest labels such Freek Records, Nu style Records, Bass Boom Recordings and Hot Small Records to name a few.

The men behind Digital Pirates are professional house dj's Micky Dubz and Chris Stringer. There love affair with house music first developed when they turned 18 and started hitting their local clubs Sankeys, Music Box and so on. These clubs were to lay down their passion for house music. The natural progression was to start djing and producing which at first was just a hobby. However, once these guys had established their style nothing was going to get in the way of them taking their music to a professional level. Months of hard work and playing at local bars and clubs has helped mold Digital Pirates into a force to be reckoned with! Their live sets are incredible using their own catalogue of originals and remixes alongside the most cutting edge house around these guys really know how to rock a crowd!

Digital Pirates are not only shit hot dj's they are also very talented producers. One of the things that Makes digital pirates stand out from other producers is their unique sound. They seamlessly blend fidget house with dubstep wobbles and funky jackin vibes to create a sound that they can call their own. Digital Pirates to me sound like the love child of Stupid Fresh and Ed kane but with a cutting edge twist. Their original sound and undeniable skill behind the decks has become to get noticed by labels and promoters alike.  They have recently played alongside Crookers at Sankeys in Manchester as well as healdining alongside Filthy Rehab earlier in the year! Not to mention their impressive catalogue of originals and remixes that have been released on Beatport on labels such as Freek, Nu Style , Hot Small and Bombeatz.

Digital Pirates are definitely  one to watch out for in the future their funky infectious vibes and filthy basslines are sure to make a massive impact on the scene.

Hot Track Featured

This morning I was mincing around the internet searching for tunes when i came across this track  and it literally blew my mind!

The Damn Bell Doors and The Elephant-Watch Out (Original mix)

This track is like nothing else i've ever heard! It is literally the dirtiest track i've herd in several years if ever! The vocals in the build up are incredible with ominous bass rises behind it! But the drop is the masterpiece in this track-everything stops, the vocals declare 'Watch Out' and then Boom! The bassline is an incredible cross of trash electro and cut up nu electro sounds! By far the best track ive herd for a while! It is due out on Sick Slaughterhouse in the next couple of months so keep an eye out for it!
